To recap, the 5th version of Google Earth adds the ability to explore the Oceans and Mars, as well as a Historical Imagery feature that lets you view satellite imagery from the past, going as far back at the 1950's in some places.

In addition to mapping the ocean floor, this version also has 21 extra layers dedicated to ocean exploration. For example there's a Jacque Cousteau layer that lets you view the seas through the famous explorers eyes and a cool Animal Tracking layer that lets you swim underwater from the perspective of various sea animals.

Mars 3D puts you on the surface of the red planet where you can get an up close look at the terrain. Through the new Historical Imagery you can view changes for particular regions over time such as major construction projects and environmental transformations.

With the new touring feature, you can now record and narrate your virtual adventures and share them with others. Get the full scoop and check out our updated slideshow at PCMag.com.

This archive include google earth updater with which you can download then google earth new edition and some other articles of google ...
